Thanks for the chains info Ken. I am thinking of getting a set for year round work. I think I would get more traction on my slopes if I did.

BTW, did you notice any difference from inboard and outboard use?

Hi Carl,

i have used my cheaper chains for use in the woods in the summer when i was running singles and it worked well. The chains did less damage to the grass on the soft ground than if the wheels spun.

Without chains, duals were giving me better traction than singles. I would not be able to compare chains inside versus outside since I would be comparing installs that are a year apart.
