Insulated panels

I have enough of the panels to cover the ceiling. The panels are gloss white so that will be a benefit. So there is less air leakage should one caulk the tongue and groove lightly before they are joined? I will need 5-6 inch screws or lag bolts to hold them up.

I wanted to use Rockwool above but none around and it seems a bit difficult to source. Often was used in hospitals. Also wanted some Perlite to put into concrete blocks but having trouble sourcing it also. Always something.

Caulking would be good, especially working overhead jamming them nice and tightly together without a bunch of help will be hard especially if the t&g is not in perfect shape. 👍

Getting them attached to the ceiling was a concern but perhaps a drywall lift would help the matter. I already have to bring them in from a door on the second floor as I will be unable to get most up the stairway.

Without knowing exactly what the panels are and their intended use in a building construction...all you are gonna get is peoples best guesses as to how to use them.

Find out what the panels are and how they were intended to be used. If you can replicate that in your own building then great. If not.....insulate using a method known to work and not cause issues

1/4 × 6 TimberLOK screws with a fender washer under the head may be a good choice as well. I would either caulk on the surface, or white tape used for the roll insulation on a steel frame building. Caulk in the grooves may make disassembly difficult.

I vote for the ceiling use. Using a drywall jack. Lightly caulk the splices. Will make a very tight insulated ceiling that looks great.

Those are walk-in cooler panels cut it with a circular saw
