intake air heater system

Hello...My first post on this forum.
I have a JD4200. I have only had it
A couple of weeks and am still learning.
When you push the key in to start the
intake air heater,do you hold it in until
the light goes out?? Has not been cold
enough yet to really use it but it will soon
be. Thanx for any help.

The manual states to hold in on key for 10 - 15 seconds for temps down to 0* farenheit. Hold in for 15 - 30 seconds for lower temps.
