Interesting auction yesterday

I attended an acreage sale yesterday and I found some of the results to be interesting. I thought I'd post some of them just to generate some conversation.
13 old tractors JD G (2), JD 70, Case VAC (2), Case 830, Farmall H, Ford 8N (2), Ferguson TO30 (2), MM UB, and AC B. Most were painted up and looked fairly decent. Most also would start and run. Prices from $800 to $3000+.
Struck mini dozer- decent shape - $1500
Yamaha Big Bear 4x4 ATV, 900 miles- good shape- $1600
Cushman 3 wheel turf truckster w/ hyd dump box- good shape- $850
JD 112, 317, and 318 LGT's w/ mowers- decent shape-$800-1600
1973 Dodge 2T truck w/ 16' farm box- 20k miles, good shape- $1600
1964 Chevy tilt cab truck w/ short side dump box- 327 V8-ok shape- runs- $975
2 flatbed trailers- 16' + 2' dovetail w/ winches- ok shape- $1200 and 1500
Also had a couple of trailers of tools that generally brought insanely high prices.
A couple of exceptions-
Craftsman 60gal upright air compressor on wheels- $150.
Lincoln 225 arc welder- $65
This was a huge sale, Started at 9AM and was still going when I left at 3:30.

It's a good thing I wasn't there. I dig that old junk and I'd probably be broke right now. At least I don't have a wife that wold have been mad.

There's a lot to be said for that, isn't there? I smile every time I read about someone having to convince their "CFO" to allow them to make some purchase.
