At our place, the workload is triple to quadruple of what it was at this time last year. Very overwelming!
People are starting to get angry about the six and seven day work weeks, and I have to keep reminding them that we were sending them home each day from a lack of work a year ago...
As I always say, it's better to be TOO busy than to be laid off!



P.S. Walmart is our biggest customer- they keep me working! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If that last statement doesn't bring everyone out of the woodwork, nothing will!)

IF you try to stick to that BUY AMERICAN policy, there are a lot of things you are going to do without. some items i doubt you will find that are made completly in the USA. TV, shoes, most of the components for the computer u are using, and most cars only have so much american made components. and the list goes on!!!!!!

good evening,
just a thought, but if you were a CEO with budgetary responsibilities and want to build a new plant in the US, would you locate in the cold northern states where you could possibly miss numerous production hrs because of snow and other weather related problems????? Or would you put it in the south (below Mason-dixon line)?????warm weather, good labor pool, lower cost of living, etc.... these are things company managers look at quiet frequently and the south is growing at a tremendous rates....
for instance, here locally,(longview, tx.) they just opened a truck frame manufacturing facility (Dana Corp, i believe) for making frames for the GM plant in shreveport, la. still looking for employees.....and a motor home facility building these big motor homes(i see the diesel pusher chassies on trailers on I20 all the time)
i don't know where people get the money to gamble, but we are busy all the time.....still looking for employees (everything from dealers to housekeeping).............. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
so having said all that, i buy either/or...........
