Interesting turn of events!

I was looking at both LS and Kioti's in the 35-40'ish HP range. The LS dealer only had the XR's and a couple G-series. I really liked the XR's but they were a little more for what you got to me. Meaning, I first was interested in the XR3032H and the price was a little over $20K. Looked at the Kioti CK35HST for ~ 19K but could get a DK50SEHst for ~$22K. The DK was rally nice had more HP and over all a better price point (I think). Anyway I stmbled onto a R3039 shuttle with an LS 6' Brush hog for $20,500. This is a tier 3 tractor. This seems like a really good deal other than I have to give up the Hydro. What do you think of the deal. DO you think the R3039 is close to the DK? I need to BH ~ 5 acreas of field and till/work some food plots/fields 3-4 (200x400ft ea). Is the LS BH woth a hoot? Also, I have never driven a shuttle tractor so I have no real opinion other than my Hydrow lawn tractor.

I don't know. I'm firmly in the hydro camp.

I've stated this before, I would not sacrifice my preferences just for the sake of avoiding tier 4.

Buy the DK50hst and don't look back... Hydro for me is a must. I am all done with gear tractors.

The R3039 is a great machine, but a lot less tractor than the DK50.
