A Similar machine used to be built in the 1970's or 1980's in North Bay Ontario. It had high floatations duals on all eight axles but was about the size and width of an Argo.

Yanmar makes a similar version on tracks, too, in two sizes, Something like half and 3/4 ton. Yanmar Construction Equipment dealers import them, not the Ag division.

I would love to have one of the little tracked ones. I have absolutely no practical use for it, but still...

I have one of those Japanese mini-trucks (Daihatsu HiJet) with a dump bed. It has a ~45hp 3cyl gas engine, but i've often wished it had a Yanmar diesel in it. So that Yanmar unit really looked interesting, esp. with the 8x8 traction.
I've found the mini-truck pretty useful for hauling dirt and other stuff around, and occasionally as an elevated work platform-- some of the beds can also rise while staying horizontal (often used as a mobile deer stand where it's allowed). These could be useful as a harvesting platform for apples, cherries, etc.
