I don't believe I have a self parking wiper. The wiper stops where it was when I hit the button.

On the recommendations from my buddies on a Model T forum I am thinking of trying one of the units on qkits.com. I first need to look up and find how many amps my wiper motor uses and buy accordingly. I am currently looking at the 15 amp unit. I need to take air cooling flow and heat build up into my final decision. Kit MX033

I have one of those aftermarket ww timers somewhere! It was just a 555 timer circuit. Was going to put it on my 77 Plymouth but never got around to it.

The non self parking issue is a nuisance. You could incorporate an (alarm type) mini magnet and reed sensor on the wiper and wire it into the circuit, but this makes the whole project more complicated by far.

Actually, I could use something like that on my Kubota too. I am always reaching up to give the thing one swipe. I would give up a bunch of features on my p/u trucks if they would just put a button on the steering wheel to give me a single swipe of the wipers. But I guess they are FAR too stupid to make something so simple yet usefull.

Omron makes a really nice line of timers. Octal plug. Wide operating voltages and a myriad of functions and times. Try and get one of these from E-Bay. Much more reliable then a 555 circuit which is very sensitive to noise as far as its triggering pulse.
