Looking at buying a International 2500B and installing a International 3000 loader that was last on an International 2544, anyone know if they will bolt up?

Looks like the front brackets on the tractor are 2 bolt, vs 4 bolt on the loader, but a couple pieces of 3/8" or 1/2" plate and the welder should fix that in short order.

I'm wanting to say the loader on my 2500b was a 2050A or something like that. I sold it years ago, so cannot remember.

PM me if you purchase the tractor. I have a ton of manuals for it that may benefit you. ;)

I cannot tell from the picture, but that looks like the HST version of that tractor with the two pedals being on the left for forward/reverse? Gas or diesel? I cannot tell from the picture, but I think my manuals cover all models.

Can't see the loader number in this picture of mine...

I was hoping you would see this thread.
The one I am looking at is a diesel with the HST transmission. Looking on Tractordata, the 2500B had the 2050 loader on it.
I will take you up on that offer if we end up buying it.
Any chance you remember how the loader hydraulics connected to the tractor?

They are different chassis but similar sizes, designed and built on opposite sides of an ocean. Probably can be made to work.

OK shoot me a PM is you buy it.

I do not remember how my loader hydraulics attached. It was a bastardized setup with a cab. I had a two-lever control for the FEL, not a joystick. I remember it was up to the right of the front of the cab, there was power-beyond hoses running across to a rear remote on the right rear. The hoses blocked entry/exit to the right side cab door. Mine also had oversized lift cylinders on it, so much so, that I could easily lift the rear of the machine off the ground, even with cab, loaded tires, and an implement on the back.

What I really liked about that machine, was that the forward/backward pedals were on the left foot (not a treadle, but separate pedals). The split brakes were on the right. There was a foot accelerator on the right foot also. There was a differential lock on the right heel. So you could lock your differential with your right heel, and control direction with your left foot. You could either crank up the hand throttle to the speed you wanted, or if you needed a burst to maintain PTO speed, you used the foot accelerator.

Ergonomically, it was a very fine machine to operate. Only problem I ever had with it was the gear on the distributor spun (won't have that with a diesel). Had that re-welded. And the fuel shutoff solenoid on the carb went bad twice (won't have that with a diesel either). I did crack one of the front wheel vertical axles, the mount for the steering ram, and blew seals on the steering ram. All parts were available here:

In fact, that's who I sold it to when I got rid of it. Good folks.
