International 434

I am thinking about buying a International 434. This would be my first International tractor. I would like to know if there is anything i should consider before buying. Common problems, part avaibility, or reliabilty Etc.
Im getting rid of my tractor with a loader for one without a loader. how do those 3pt lift arms work?

I had an IH 424(different engine same running gear) gas engined tractor and traded it in on the Kubota. I liked that tractor real well it was a great hillside tractor from the way it was built low to the ground and able to set the wheels wide apart. The bad part was it didn't have power steering. The really bad thing to look out for is the brakes. The 424 had dry disc brakes in a cast iron hub that sit in front of the axles and they weren't sealed real well so they would get wet and rust up the mechanism and then the brakes were crap from there on out. That said they were a tank and the 3ph was very strong.

Thanks for the help. im kinda on the fence with this one. its the right size tractor for me about what i want to spend and it looks great. but i heard part were hard to find for the English IH . the brakes on this were weak to say the least. but im not to concerned with that i can tell you the last time i have had to use brakes it real flat here in NY.

P.S. I DO use brakes in my truck on the road.......most of the time.
