HI MY TRACTOR WOULD NOT GO INTO HIGH RANGE THE GEAR MAIN ARM WAS REALY TIGHT I TOOK IT OFF AFTER HEATING IT CLEAN SHAFT NOW WORKING FREE AND EASY BUT STUCK IN REVERS GEAR

Welcom to TBN PJ. I'm not an IH guy but like most tractors, they have a access point under a cover that will allow the OP to use a screwdriver to pull the tranny out of gear. As other suggested, the IH Forum thread will best answer your question. If you don't have a service manual, it would be a good investment and could save you some bucks in the long haul.
