International 684 hyraulics quit working when hot

Ok I found the relief valve and the flow divider. Do I need to drain the fluid first? Also what am I looking for as far as being bad?

no you will just loose a little fluid.trash ,broke spring,pitted bore,flat ball,cracks.it could just be wore out.

I took off the flow divider and all I could get out was the bolt and a spring. It shows there is supposed to be more on there but it wont come out. The pressure relief valve I can't get a wrench or anything on it to take it out.

try to pull it out with a magnet.sometimes you have to move lines out of the way.
