Hi

I am not sure if this is where I can find out about this tractor model. My father in law is giving it to me to use on my farm and I am trying to find out more about it. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Bill:)

Are you sure it's not a B-275? They were build in the early 60's and were imported from abroad.

I think that must be a UK model that was imported to Canada. I don't recall ever seeing that model in the US.

I've seen a few up here in the north east. I know a guy who runs 2, says their good on fuel and cheap to buy, he also has a B414.

The 276 was manufactured in England in late 1960's. BAsically a 275 with more modern hood the same as the 434 model, the only way to quickly tell the difference between the 276 & 434 is the front axle - 276 has the round section axle off the 275, and the 434 has inverted U section axle.
Not a common tractor, the 434 with extra HP was not much more money new. Apart from hood, all parts off 275 will fit and easy to find s/h
Excellent small tractor, very powerfull for size, nice to drive, independent hydraulics from engine driven pump, diff lock, good weight to power ratio for field cultivation.

Here are some pictures of it. Needs some work but I used it tonight to move a brush pile. Way better than a hand rake:)

Here are a few pics. I want to clean it up and get a new bucket for it. It used to move lots of manure so the bucket is rotten on it.

I have a B275, really good tractors but watch out for the hydraulic pump it tends to blow the seal on the shaft and send hydraulic oil into the engine.
There are separate oil for gear and hydraulics on these. If you are gentle with it so this is a tractor that can be handed down for generations
