thanks for your help don . now i know it is a 1959 gonna try and find a manuel for it and get the glow plugs working . it's the most miserable starting tractor i've seen . even if the long range weather forecast calls for a cloud it hates to start . This problem led to my starter problem . Thanks again

This is very common with Internationals. The distributor cap was pourse (sp) and dampness got in and caused a problem with the points. I was told if you sealed the distributor cap it helped.

i assume the 10 tooth starter is working fine and the boys from tennesee are off the hook

i have a b275 starter , i took it apart to repair it and cant get the spring back in it properly can anyone help me

Remember to check the glowresister on the dash aswell ! Do not heat up longer than 5 sec !
