Ok, so I'm venting: The Gates site had/has a good cross reference feature which you can use to find teh correct Gates replacement for various belts form other manufacturers. I need a Bando RAF K285, belt for the AC on my minitruck. Thought I would just go the the Gates site and cross reference it.

I just spent forty minutes on Google with the search terms of "gates power belt", "Gates Belt Cross reference", and Bando "RAF K285 belt". The results, twenty pages of spam, from people spamming the search engine.

The web wenies have made the internet as useless as they are.

Try DuckDuckGo instead of Google, a lot less spam.

I gave up on Google a while ago. My wife and I would both put in the exact same search criteria and come up with VERY different results!!???

Same computer or different? As you know, results are tailored based on your previous history.

I get frustrated when I search for an item, find it, go to the web page, then am asked to "choose my store". After doing so the item I was just looking at disappears and I am asked to "add a vehicle."

It's different computers, yes I realize it is based on past history. The worse part, she gets the answer we are looking for 90% of the time and all I get is junk.

Might be time to purge your web cache, history, and start browsing with a different browser and search engine...but, yes that part number seemed oddly hard to find for me, as well.

Sometimes phrasing a search even slightly differently will give very different results.
