I think my wireless printer is getting/sending the signal through my Verizon MIFI. Every time I turn on the MIFI a page prints out with "ATEOV1" on the top of the page. Anyone know what this is about?????

Looks like a modem command. AT (attention), E0 (echo off), V1 (result codes in words instead of numbers).

I haven't a clue why your printer might be spewing it, though.

before my cradlepoint router, if I wanted to print via the mifi I had to manually enter the WPA password to put the printer on the mifi network, then switch it back for the house network. what a pain. Now it works great.

My cradlepoint mbr1000 arrived yesterday morning. Plugged it in, attached the mifi2200 and it just worked. All of our computers joined the network without issue (after I entered the WAP passcode, of course). Configured the printers for the new network and they just worked. And - the key point to keep my wife from giving me grief for buying the router - they continue to work; even after moving them to different areas I turned them on and they immediately rejoined the network.

I don't know who's happier, me (who now has a solid network with plenty of internet bandwidth) or my wife (who no longer has to listen to my expletive-laced tirades as I reconfigure a printer every time we want to print something).

For the last three years we have been using the 3G service for our internet connection, previous to that, we have Hugenet. Honestly the Satellite connection was a joke, not to mention the poor weather condition we always have here in the Seattle area. The internet connection was a sore subject for me and my wife, since her primary business is Web Development (her own Business). She felt I did not research enough the Satellite technology during our final decision to buy the house, I admit, swept that under the rug and I was betting on the technology will come soon enough, totally wrong?! We tried every possible options even T1, just to avoid my wife renting an office space, but NO luck. All of the T1 installer including Verizon (our local carrier) where having issue to support installing the infrastructure needed. On top of this, the 3G service that we are using is starting to slow down, since we have more people using it as their primary internet connection. The day to day frustration on my wife is unbearable, I knew I screwed up. I just need to figure it out, somehow?

About 3 months ago I came across a Covad van driving by. I remember that they specialized on Internet network/infrastructure solution. That night I did some research what solution they have for commercial and Home use, still nothing new. All technology has been approach from the previous attempt. One thing that came to my mind is, the economy today is not the same two/three years ago, I知 thinking they might be more aggressive to get more business to up the revenue. So I applied again for business T1 installation to our house, this time I used Covad. The process took three months to set everything up, there are times I felt the local service will fail again. My wife is really NOT putting any hope on the process since we have failed so many times. I just kept calling them three to five times a week, to find out the status. Yesterday the Covad guys went to our house to complete the installation and while I was at work, I got the notice from my Blackberry congratulating me on the new service. Immediately called my wife at home to confirm the installation and sure did and she witness the installer surfing on his laptop service pc using the new connection. That night I went on hook it to my wireless router and walla, 1.444Mbits download and upload. My wife said she got her early Christmas present.

3 years contract and NO installation fee = $282 per month, believed it or not, we will save more from this monthly cost by removing some of other services and miscellaneous to get around this internet connection problem.

Did you use the usb connection or was that a wireless connection?

I attached the mifi to the cradlepoint using a usb cable. That makes it (the mifi) a part of the cradlepoint network as opposed to broadcasting a stand-alone network of its own.
