We only have satellite or dial up available here. We were told not even to try Hughes Net because their after the sale service was non-existent. We use Dishmail for internet. Its not the Roadrunner we had before but much better than dial up. As with all cloud based systems a hefty thunderstorm can knock out your TV and internet. As far as cell phones go we we went with the thirty day free trial with 4 cell phone companies all at the same time. So we were signed up with 4 cell phone providers and had 8 different cell phones to try all at the same time. Two phones each for the wife and me. That's the only way to go on cell phones. They all will tell you that you will have cell phone coverage in your area but when we signed up and tried the phones only one of the three we tried really worked.

I got the Wilson desktop DT installed. Seems to work pretty well. As the instructions noted the weaker the signal being amplified the less coverage you will have indoors. After the install I immediately noticed significant improvement for the AT&T hotspot. Now I have 4 bars instead of 1 that would drop in an out but little improvement for my cell phones unless standing within 6 feet of the indoor antenna. When standing close they will move to 3-4 bars. Seems to be a good product and I will continue to work out the bugs and post additional information. If your problem is just needing to get the siginal indoors then this will work great but if you are trying to amplify an already weak signal then functionality is questionable.
