The Sonos Boost is hardwired. Very little improvement. I am going to hardwire the one on the porch because it is a long way from the router/modem.
I love and hate my Sonos system. When it is working there is nothing like it. When speakers are cutting in and out I want to toss it in the trash. Fortunately it works well the majority of the time.
