Greetings,
I just picked up a used B7610 and had a question about the 1/4 inch valve control. I have searched the forums and don't want to start a long thread about 1/4 inch vs. position control, as that has already been well-covered, but here is my confusion:
When I push the lever to the adjustable detent, indeed the 3-point goes up/down at a very slow rate. Should the 3-pt automatically stop after 1/4 inch of travel or should it slowly go all the way up/down, as long as I am pressed up against the adjustable detent? I can still move it in 1/4 inch increments, but I need to quickly push/release in order to do so. I assumed from the manual and discussions here, that instead, I should push it to the adjustable detent, and the lift would move 1/4 inch, then some sort of valve would pop and it would stop moving on its own.
Thanks for your help!
