Introduction, tractor conversion project.

[Loxley Farmlet]

Hello everyone,

This is my first post to this forum. Just wanted to introduce myself and tell a little bit about my tractor.

I'm Duncan, currently living in sunny Christchurch, New Zealand, on 10 acres (we call it 'Loxley Farmlet'). I purchased an Iseki TU 318F compact tractor (18 hp). I bought it with a hole in the side of the engine block (it 'threw a leg out of bed'), with the explicit intent on converting it to electric! I've got a thread going over at the DIYElectricCar forum detailing progress on the conversion. I'm at the 'remove old ICE' stage at the moment.
