I have been playing with a small hedge trimmer mounted on my front end loader…to keep the wild from growing onto my field…

Sickle bar is run by hydraulic motor… my tractor delivers 12gal/min and sickle bar likes 3gal/min. Anything more, shakes my teeth

I am still playing, but mounted a flow control on my auxiliary line… all the low star reviews of the sickle bar come from owners who are not taking the time with hydraulic modification… the clue is - the manufacturer doesn’t include hoses…. So far the unit performs as advertised…
