The govt. pot farm has been at Univ of Miss. in Oxford at least since the early 1970s, possibly before that.

Just read an article in the local rag talking about the drop in commercial weed prices here in Michigan and how most of the weed retailers won't survive. They got into it thinking they would make a killing but now are getting killed themselves. Once you have a proliferation of wee dealers and they compete against each other causing the price to plummet, they won't all survive and that is playing out here presently.

Not surprising. I'm in IL, and the dispensary prices here have dropped quite a bit since the earlier years of legal recreational pot. Meanwhile, MI is still known as the state for yet cheaper legal weed...where IL people head to for stocking up.

If they depended on me for business, they would go down the tirlet quick as I don't smoke weed or do drugs that aren't prescription. I did when I was a kid, did everything back then. Surprised my brain isn't fried but it's not, least I don't believe it is. Did everything from 'Window pane' LSD to hash to weed to pills.

Personally, I enjoy a nice indica before going beddy bye bye. And what's great nowadays is that I could hit one of a number of dispensaries near me to find exactly what I want, per pot reviews I pillage off Reddit. Some of this modern life stuff is okeydoke by me!
