Two tractors..both Mitsubishi. MT160D 4WD with a Brush Cutter. The other is a MT1601 4WD with a loader
I just purchased a MT1601D 4WD with a loader. Can I invert the front rims which would increase the distance between the front tires giving me more stability when using the loader??

Most people recommend not because it puts extra strain on the front end parts.

I have a 4x4 and I inverted the front wheels for more stability. No problems yet. You can always change them back.

Making the front wider does not do much if anything. The axle is on a pivot. A rear wheel will be off the ground a long way before a wider front would come into play. The 4x4 will help going down a hill with a load helps a load because the rear can lose traction and you cannot stop.
