Invisible Fence

Brian, I've used this system for years. Pet Safe
They aslo have training colars and wirless systems.

As for the tow zone option I think the dog would stay confused. Many dogs stop testing the system after only a few months and the system can be turned off. If you had a small zone and large zone the dog may stay in the small zone even when the large zone was active.

They can be run above ground but not to high. Think of the field as a circle. If you have it set to ten feet and it's mounted ten feet of the ground the dog could run past the fence and only hit the warning zone of the fence. And this would make the warning zone only about a foot wide a the dogs neck level.

Anyway, the system works and the dogs lean real fast. My old Lab could run to the edge of the zone and stop on a dime even though none of the markers were left and I didn't have a real fence for him at that house.

Good Luck

Thanks FL_Cracker.

I still need to look into the whole thing more.
