I have the best ionic breeze they made, and it does capture some stuff, but I can't imagine anyone being truly pleased with it. It simply cannot move much air at all, since it does not have a fan.
I cannot help much on suggesting a better one, but I would suggest you to look closely at your vacuum cleaner. Look at its characteristics, and make sure that what it vacuums up, it actually keeps. Many these days have Hepa filters, and a good vacuum will help a great deal.
Were geeting a new vacume ours is just trashed its 6 yrs old but has vacumed a lot of hair in those days, and dirt out of the trailer we lived on on the lake! Cleaned 2 differerent boats carpet for years and is just toast. It has a hepa but my problem is the wood floors. The cats do a number on them on their own i dont want to contribute to it with a vacume scratching around on it so we swifter and vacume the piles up with a shop vac or the tube on the regular one. Trust me we have 6 cats (wife works for a vet, and they keep finding their way home, i like cats too) 1 outside 99% of the time 1 inside/outside 50/50 and 4 full time indoors, plus a 30lb dog. We have enough four dander and just dust kicked up by them running to easily fill the air. I need a charged or hepa air filter that can move air in a good 800 feet to 1500 feet.
