These reports should be required reading for new tractor owners.
My first tractor didn't have a ROPS, the tractor came with the place and I had no idea how to operate it safely.
Got the front end off the ground trying to drag a log on a slight uphill, at the time it didn't seem like anything I should be concerned about. Ignorance is bliss.
After reading up on roll overs I look back and cringe.

New tractor has a ROPS and I'm trying not to do wheelies.

I found this one to be particularly interesting:

A 75-year-old farmer was pulled off and run over by the baler he was operating when the hitch to the horse-drawn baler failed, the horses continued forward, and the baler rolled forward over him.

I only paid attention to the ones marked 'farmer' and by far the most recurring theme was old farmer on old tractor.

The absence of young guys on new tractor deaths makes me suspect that homeowners and property owners killed on tractors not being used as part of their occupation are not reported here.

There sure is a wide variety of events posted, from

A 68-year-old farmer, while driving on a gravel road, was ejected through his tractor's front window when the tractor overturned and broke into multiple pieces after being struck by the engine of a train at a railroad crossing.

to

A 59-year-old teacher, who tipped sideways on his moped/scooter in his driveway on the way to school, collapsed and struck his head in classroom six hours later.

Most of the farming accidents have some common themes: Narrow-front tractors equipped with loaders, loaders on slopes, working under raised FELs, and dropping wheels into ditches...
