( If by chance you do go with Bighorns for your RTV, 25" is the biggest that will fit. Bczoom and I both are running the 25" Bighorns on our RTV's and they are at least 26" tall. I can't speak for bczoom, but I really like them.)

Yes, I really like them.

Charles - Congrats on getting your RTV!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif If the tires that are on it already are working, go ahead and stick with them for awhile. You may want to consider slime in the tires.

Re: IPT 589\'s on RTV

OK I found the spot today. On a trail along my property line I found three hills that the RTV could not handle. I didn't loose power but rather the tires loaded up with GA SLICK CLAY and I just sat there spinning. I talked with Essex(?) today and they tell me that they have a 1 1/3" lift kit for the RTV and then you can run 27x11-12 589's with out any problems. I talked to a Kubota dealer that has been doing this and he claims no real power loss and a little more top end. (Which sounds right)

I think I may have to go that way. I 'm still considdering 26" 589's without the lift kit but I think I might like the look of the 27" tires and lift.

Re: IPT 589\'s on RTV

With the heavy clay and mud you describe, I don't see how you could go wrong with the 589's. I think the only way you would get more traction in pure mud would be with tracks. But, if you've looked at them, they are rather spendy to say the least1 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
