No Rob, I havent really played any golf since high school. My buddy Steve played a round on the Ring of Kerry golf course and told me it was incredibly difficult, between the terrain, narrow fairways and water hazards /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Kind of made me happy that I dont play any longer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He lost 12 balls on 18 holes /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

OK, I have to admit I have a weakness for good beer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif There were an endless supply of Pubs that we walked in and sat down for a nice Guiness or Smithwicks or any other of many wonderful beers on tap /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is a photo of the Crows Nest Pub just up the street from the Quiet Man Cottage.

Oh, I meant to say most all the Pubs had a nice little fireplace that they either burned large chunks of coal or peat. We will be telling you more about peat as this thread goes on, very distinct smell that I actually liked by the end of the trip /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
