For all you volunteer firemen out there /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif here is the fire station in Clifden. Nice little town with a great pub /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We never did actually find any stations open, they work like most of our volunteer depts in the states, they are paged on a call. The members of the brigade do get payed a small sum for attending each call.

This would be Dunguire Castle, what was interesting in this castle was just beyond entering the main enterance. There was a gap in the ceiling the width of the walkway, this was used to stab and spear any intruders breaking in /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
