I'm kind of leaning toward gettings Deere's because I would be getting a heavier strut and spring which would be better for a blade. If I use Deere's and install 27" tires on it, would I rub once I put a 72" V-blade on?

I wouldn't go over 26's if it was mine. Bigger tires give you more clearance, but you sacrifice low end grunt. And with the blade you may have some rubbing.

You're speaking of two different things here. What I have isn't a lift kit but just the heavy duty strut, it inadvertantly lifts the front though because it is so much stiffer. The other lift kit is just that a kit to lift it and it's nothing more then a large spacer designed to keep the shock extended more. The spacer isn't going to help you if you have a windshield or a blade, in fact it might hurt things in the grand scheme of everything.

I agree with that, I don't know anything about the blade but the 27's are going to weigh more, have a larger diameter, and move all the weight of the tread that extra inch farther out. Bad all around.

Yes. That would help you with the extra front-end weight and give you some lift~!

Thanks for clearing that up. I realize that both kits aren't the same. That's why I was leaning toward Deere's actual HD strut kit insted of just adding spacers. But from what you guys have said, I will go with 26" 589's. Looks like an awesome tire that wears fairly well considering the tread. Thanks for all the help guys!

What size of rims and 26" tires should I run? I'm not sure what the factory rim size is. I was thinking that I have 24" tires on there now.
