Is $34,000 about right for a M7040 4wd with loader and optional hydralic hookup?

I saw a price listed on this site for less than 29 for the same new tractor with loader and called the local dealer in Dallas, Pa. C. H. Waltz Sons and got the much higher price. Did I get list price or was the other guy getting a steal?

$34K sounds a bit high but not too far off.

My dealer has one in stock. I did not price it because I was not interested in the FEL.

He did say that a FWA 7040 platform without loader would run "around $26,500" and the loader would be "around $5K". I'm not sure of the cost of the remotes.

Thanks sounds like I got list price as when I asked if he was giving me list he paused and said the tractor alone was mid 28's.

Man you have to be kidding me. Canadian prices on these tractors are a joke. I got quoted today on a L39 and the price was $54489.00 . I also got a price on the M6040 and it came in at $55210.00 without a FEL. wtf?

At $34,000 for the M7040 I would drive down there and buy it tomorrow if I could.

A couple months ago I was quoted $25,700 for an M5040 ROPS with loader, 4wd, dry clutch and another dealer $27,000 for the same setup except hydraulic shuttle. I would expect to pay about $3000 to 3500 more for a M7040 and I don't know how much the hydraulic remotes would be. The quote of 34k sounds a little high.

I paid $41,000.00 and some change OTD for mine with factory FEL with the Kubota third function valve setup, 81" Gearmore 4G5 series HD rear box blade with Kubota factory TNT and hydraulic ripper valves and R4 tires.
