Is a BCS 201 the same as a rear tine tiller that isn't a walk behind tractor?

Is an older BCS 201 the same as any rear tine tiller? The 201 cannot have any other attachments than the tiller part. I know a guy with a used one for about 400, but if it's the same as any other tiller, because you don't have other attachments, why not get a newer rear tine? I'm not sure why the BCS would be better. Thanks for helping me decide. I don't need the other attachments, but at the same time I don't want an ancient BCS if there's not advantage.

The 201 is a very basic BCS model that is over 30 years old. I think that some of them came with the "BCS" branded engine. That engine was a one-off that has few parts that are available. In my part of the world I can find a Troy-Bilt tiller for that money or less that would be less problems.
I say this as a very happy BCS owner.

I don't know about older BCS's, but all the BCS's I've ever looked at, I'd take one of them over ANY Troy-Bilt! AND I own a REAL Troy Bilt tiller.
