Oil & Fuel Is all Kubota tractors use DIESEL fuel?

Hi, I had a friend of mine tell me that Kubota use only diesel fuel in there tractors and had no gas engines. Is this true or not?

Terry, Kubota makes some gasoline powered lawnmowers (lawn tractors?), but I think all their tractors are diesel.

I dunno about their tractors, but I have a 3 cyl gas powered Kubota engine in a Grasshopper ZTR mower I have. It is about the smoothest gas engine I've ever used in a mower, but it is thirsty.

So far the friend is right... I do believe all Kubota TRACTORS use diesel.... The ZTR mowers and they may have some riders that are gas engines. The key work is TRACTRORS....

The only Kubota tractor engines that use diesel fuel are compression ignition engines, the spark ignition engines all use gasoline. If the Kubota tractor engine you are wondering about has fuel injectors and no spark plugs, you can assume that it uses diesel fuel
