I have just aquired a Montgomery Ward walk behind tiller. I am guessing it is from the early 50's. It came with several attachments and is in great condition for the age. It had been stored in a shed out of the weather for several decades. The only thing missing seems to be the head for the engine. The motor still turns over and most pieces seem like they will all work if I can find a head and possibly a carb. Does anyone know where I might be able to find these parts or a whole machine for parts. Any help is appreciated, Thanks

P.S. I will post some pics later

In all probability the motor is a standard Briggs or Kohler.
If you had some engine No's you certainly should be able to match up a head as most often in small motors the head is about the only thing that survives.
The most common failure is throwing a rod and scrapping the block.

Also lots of tillers are simply bolt on engines and v-beltn driven making engine swaps easy enough to do.
