Re: Is Anyone\'s Fueling Truly Dripless?

Hobby, No prob, have it your way ... I only use 5 gal containers for gasoline and diesel. All the time. Several off road vehicles ... several different kinds of containers. If anything drips it's cuz I was paying more attention to my beer than the fuel ... not a fault of the container nor spout.
Cheers!

Cheers! )</font> I agree, I use a regular funnel and a 5 gal yellow jug. The jug has a handle on the top and one on the side. The fuel cap on my DX33 is about chest high. I hold the jug with one hand and steady the the funnel with the other. I don't get any drips or spills. I can tell by sound when the tank is almost full and slow down the flow so I don't get any over spill. I leave about an inch of space in the tank for expansion.

Re: Is Anyone\'s Fueling Truly Dripless?

No' found a one that don"t leak or drip at some point.... other than as mentioned carefull use of funnel...

I do despise the new auto-venting cans... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif stupid implimentaion... If the can is full or not to get a tight seal the spout must be down into the can... meaning you at the minimum get fuel on your hands to use it... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif means also I have to set ip up for the wife eah time cause she hates getting gas on her hands.. imagine that.../forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like the cheapo twist lock type my self.... have to replace them now and then cause they plastic starts breacking down or the gasket fails...they are cheapo after all... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but my wife really likes them... cause she can get the can spout in the lip of the tank inlet before she opens it up... perfect no, but better than stock spouts... and cheapo.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

speaking of funnels, maybe some bunny could just make funnel that goes on temp
(or simi perminent funnel?) to replace the typical spout cap with its own twist on cap... It would work ok on my TC21 and would at the very least hold its self on securely while being used... so U would still have 2 hands to control the can.../forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
