C7008 could be some kind of model code. "C" was used as a prefix for 3000, but that was first in 1968. I think it is clear that the tractor was assembled in 1966, and at that time the prefix was "3" for the 3000.
The raised letters on the manifold are casting information, as I understand it is a code for were and when the mold was made.
The Antwerp units are often hard to identify. The rear axle does not necessarily mean that it is a 3000. I believe the 2000 LCG, for example, had square axle. The Antwerp factory made all sorts of combinations. Stuart Gibbard writes this in "The Ford Tractor Story, Part Two":
"...at the Antwerp plant, which built several specialist machines and could, in fact, offer 1,000 different variations on the four basic 6X models."
However, I think that if you have the draft control spring for a 2000, then the tractor is very likely a 2000.
Have you checked the Serial Number on the engine? All engines were manufactured in Basildon, England, and I suppose the engines for Antwerp were stamped in Basildon in the same manner as all other engines.
Check the pictures I have attached. If the Engine Serial Number starts with an "L" or a "B" it is a 2000 engine. If it starts with an "N" or a "C", then it is a 3000 engine.
