It has always been Bush Hog around my place. I'm sure it will continue to be called that around here.

Around these parts we call it a shredder. My wife on the other hand calls it "The big orange grass cutter thing."

I think it might just be me that calls it a topper.
When I was selling one to a guy he just could get to grips with the name 'topper', but then again he cauldnt say Kubota right and was under 5ft tall so I'll cut him a bit of slack /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
