One other clue to narrowing down what model it is might be tire size. Pretty sure the 1900 and 2100 are slightly smaller frame/ general dimensions than the 2300 and 2500. I believe the 1900/2100 used 22" rear rims and would be surprised if the 2300/2500 didn't have 24" rims. Check the rear tire size and see what they are.

I wanted to mention that it was pointed out that most everything is in Japanese characters but there are English ones as well. I have never owned a grey market tractor that didn't have mixed language labels. My Mitsubishi has about 1/2 and 1/2 as far as if something is written in one language or another.

I will check tire size on the am. Also look for some numbers on the block. The Japanese writing over powers what the wrote in English. I found on the spec label 10 40 API CC. Does this sound correct for motor oil? No sign of water or acorns in the engine it is actually really oil free from leaks and still full of antifreeze. A whole lot of levers compared to today's skip n drags.

trying to gets pics off a new phone, don't have a clue. anyways, this is the loader attachment that i removed. this tractor has become a catch all so it's time to let go.

I would say that hood lable clearly shows its a TL model. I made my guess on just the picture.

Looks similar to mine. On the right hand side where that hole is mine has the key switch and just above it there is a round cap about 3/4 inch dia with a hole in the middle. Under this hole there is a coil(looks like a spring) that will light up when the glow plugs get hot. The spoke on the steering wheel in your picture is covering it. On mine you turn the key backwards until that coil light up and then turn to the right to start. On some of these smaller ones the throttle has to be in a certain position to start it and to shut it off you have to pull the throttle all the way back to shut it off. On mine I have a shutoff lever on the left side of the dash
On your pins being broken. I know how I would fix them but you have to remove the engine to do it. I could make that area stronger than when it was cast. The bell housing that is on these is cast steel which can be fixed easier than cast iron but if not weld correctly it will not hold

Yes. I don't think you have to stick with just that though. I often get Rotella 15W-40W but there are a number of good diesel formulated oils out there and I'd probably not get hung up on what brand I used and use your own judgment on appropriate weights based on the local climate..... Since you live in a town named "Caliente", I assume you probably really don't need 10 or 15w oil

The rear tire size is 9.5-24. Found these numbers on the block and valve cover

I want to say Thanks to everyone, also sorry about the crazy pics, new iphone does a lot of stuff for a phone. (been on this mountain to long).
I can tell you all this, i have learned a lot in this short time. without you all, i would have thought i had a 200 horse power catch all, lol. Learning a lot, thanks for all the help. Now i think shes a runner, not sure yet, have not tried to start it. With the help of this forum, i'm not ready to toss in the towel. One other thing i learned along the way is, don't join the Chinese tractor club when you have a Japanese tractor, haha.
