Is it just me or is this site verrrrry slow

For teh last two days I have had very sporatic responce from this site. I am aware of the virus attachk, but all the other places that I go seem fine.

Higgy, it is not just you. For me also sometime it is fast and then for a few minutes sooooooooooooooo slooooooooow. I switch to another site and the other site is fast so I am thinking it is not from my end.

I complained about this over a week ago and it does make my system seem like I am on a dialup when I have 768k dsl at home and a T1 here at work.

I have somewhat tracked it down to the adserver hanging while processing a request to display an ad, and I have seen the timing info at the bottom of the page indicate as much as 23 seconds processing time. Maybe Muhammad can spend some time and investigate this further.

It's a little slow at times, but I was chatting with my former boss down in Florida early this morning and he apologized that his IM's were not sending very fast. His explanation was that the 26 degree weather there made his PC operate slow.

So, maybe the delays are caused by cold phone lines.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Come on, be patient about the delays. The reliability of the TBN site is much better than several others, who by courtesy shall remain nameless.

It is not that I am impatient, the server is not acting as it has in the past. I would think that is something that Muhammad would like to know. I have also noticed very long processing times, in the 10-20 second range when the norm is 1-2 or less.

Yeah, we've noticed slightly longer load times on pages recently and are considering our options.

Right now we're experiencing substantial growth, and are anticipating a steady increase through the spring.

Probably time for a new server. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
