I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this crypto stuff, but it definitely seems like it's becoming more mainstream. I'm not sure if it's the end of the world or the future of finance, but it's wild to see how much things have changed in just a few years.
A pile of USA citizens own crypto right now. Here is what Grok 3 spit out after it surveyed recent articles on the subject.

An interesting quote. Is this really the case?

*******
"Cryptocurrency is directly responsible for 90% of cybercrime as it exists today.

"Before crypto, obviously there were malware and breaches, but the motivation for those was either to cause damage for fun, hacktivism, and government/corporate espionage. There was no financial motivation because there was no secure way to receive money from extortion over the internet, and even if you got someone's credit card numbers, the credit card company could just issue a chargeback if it was caught fast enough, which it often was because credit card companies have a strong financial incentive to monitor accounts for fraud.

"Crypto allowed direct theft of money stored on wallets, it allowed completely safe, secure extortion, and it provided zero ability to recover those funds.

"If there's any way that cryptocurrency has actually changed the world, it's the widespread enablement of cybercrime as an extremely lucrative business."

Crimes, huh? Quoting a single Reddit user. Okay.

Meanwhile, just today Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, said he that expects USD-backed stablecoins to become legal in the U.S. and when it does become legal for banks to custody, BofA is getting into that business. Unimaginable amounts of money are getting moved around the world via stable coins instantly rather than the old way that took days to settle.

Here are the top ten stable coins by market cap.

Buy this pelvic floor machine for $50K. Now you can sell fully clothed seat time at $250 every 15 minutes to cure erectile disfunction, bladder leakage and stupidity if only 15 easy sessions.

Or you can buy it on AliExpress and direct ship from China for only $1,200

Want me to post some graphs?

I have no idea what Grok 3 is, though I assume it's some sort of AI robot, which is most likey going to take some small bit of information it found in the internet, extrapolate it out beyond all recognition and fill in the gaps with "facts" it just made up. And there are fools that believe it.

How would AAA know how many Americans own digital funny money?

All I know is a mined 2000 pi coins for free. At one point they were worth 6k down to 4k now but expect to be $10 per coin or more by end of year. I’m cool with a free $20k or more if I wait(or less lol)

You've got it: Grok is the X AI. On my end before taking screenshots, a guy can click on and see from where the AI pulled and aggregated the data so Grok provides the source data which is a nice feature in my mind. That said, The high estimates come from data miners who are looking at blockchain data.

Here is a link to how Grok 3 compares to competitors. How Grok 3 compares to ChatGPT, DeepSeek and other AI rivals
