Local dealer here explained 0% for 60 mos add 2.5% to total financed. 0% for 72 mos add 5% to total financed. So say the total you were going to finance was $19,000 you would pay $19,950 for the 0% for 72 mos.

If you don't mind me asking did you pay more than $14,000 for just the tractor? If you bought 2 implements theres another $1,000 cash off from JD. $13,000 plus 2 implements and 0% for 72 mos is a steal if that was your deal.

The tractor itself was 14,500 I believe. I could have bought the same tractor cheaper other places but I couldn't resist the 72 month 0 %. It was worth the extra money. All said and done after 1000.00 off it came to 18,800.00 before tax for a 2520, 200cx, 62D MMM, and a ballast box.

Yes that was a great deal.. I've been getting quotes from local dealers and i'm close to your total within dollars. Did you add the independent hydraulic lift for the MMM ? I was going to get the 2720 but factoring in the $1,000 JD cash and $1,800 cheaper for the 2520 it's making it harder to decide now.:confused2:

I was inquiring about up coming rates. My local dealer E-mailed me today and said 0% for 48 months, 0% for 60 months could be worked out.
"could be worked out" makes me think I would pay a higher price for the tractor.

Yes just as I explained. Worked out means you might pay a higher final price for the tractor if your dealer doesn't want to eat the 0% charges for a longer terms.

Still waiting for serial numbers for the tiller and deck before I can finish financing and take it home, but the dealer is giving my 2.9% for 72 months. So I'm happy with the deal.

I bought it from lindsey lawn and garden in port crane New York. The place has a good staff and excellent customer service. They did not have a 2520 in stock so they brought one over from the warehouse for me to test drive. The nice thing about that is I actually got to test drive the EXACT tractor I am purchasing.

I just read an ad in the local newspaper and JD is offering 0% for 72 months right now in my area (there are 4 dealers referenced in the ad). I don't know if it's nationwide, but at least at 4 dealers in VA thats the offer right now.
