Is Kioti making big John Deere tractors????

Just for the record myself nor any other moderator did anything with your thread. Seems a few people had trouble with their posts not posting and not because of any moderation.

Also the 6000 series is made at a John Deere plant in Germany. They produce all of the 6015 and 6020 series. They produce these there because they sell a 5:1 ratio of tractors in this range there as over here. The same boat that brings over the 6000 series leaves here with 7-9000 series tractors, combines, and implements. Also 87% of John Deere equipment and materials are made in the US. All of the 7, 8, and 9000 series tractors are made and mfg. here. All of the combines are made here. All of the large tillage equpment is also made here including discs, plows, rippers. The planters are all made here. The balers, mower conditioners are made here with the exception of the sickle mower conditioner which is made by Frontier. The Gators are made here with the exception of the motors. They also make their own skidsteers about 50 miles from me. And yes the labels are made here. If any of you are interested I am having a new mower conditioner made and have been invited to go the plant and observe it being built. You can come for yourself, I can take four people, and ask the same questions and get straight answers right from the horses mouth. Last month when I got my new 8320 I went up and went through the same thing. I even got to drive it off the assembly line. So if anyone is interested on what the real truth is with regards to deere PM me and I'll get you on the list to go.

That's actually a briefcase system. It can carry your laptop which you can integrate into the onboard computer system. This allows you to dowload information from the GPS system of farming or have other information and paperwork right there at your side.

Ok...I just got off the phone with my JD dealer. I was asking him about the 6000 20 series tractors and where they were made. He said they are made in Germany at the JD factory. They produce 185 tractor per hour. He was over on a tour back in November.

The 5203 is made in India, to compete with the Mahindra.

My brother in law works for a company that makes lots of the tubing that goes on the engines that go in the JD tractors that are made at a plant in Iowa. He said it is an awsome plant, as he goes there several times a year. If I was out your way, I'd take advantage of your most generous offer. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You hit on a key point about JD mfg. Billy. That is pretty much what they had told me when I asked why they didn't mfg. everything in the US. They said the tractors they mfg. in other countries were done there because that's where most of that specific tractor was used and sold. I didn't realize that tractors were used that much in other countries but the US market isn't even the biggest market for agricultural tractors worldwide. All JD has done is take advantage of putting the product and the factories where the product is needed.

Not sure where you get your information Junkman....True
excavators are built in factories in NC and Japan...The machines are built in a relationship agreement that Deere has with Hitachi and Hitachi markets Deere built machines in parts of Asia. Low end mowers.....MTD.....??????? The intro machines L series are built in a Deere Factory located in Greeneville TN....You should go visit and see for your self.

Deere is a world wide company that originated in America and is still Headquartered in America...Yes their are factories all over the World...and in many cases select products are built by outside vendors....these products must meet Deere safety requirements, /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif perform to Deere specifications, and standards.

The day you see Deere mowers coming out of a MTD factory you should post them on TBN.

Billy P....Yes 6000's are made in Germany however the 6000 o3 series is made in Mexico.... The 5000-03 is assembled in India..engine is made in Mexico...parts are made all over the world.... I have been in the 6000 plant myself....it is state of the art...I have been in several other tractor plants of different brands.. no comparison..

Unless I am wrong....Daedong who builds Kioti branded tractors also sells Deere built and branded tractors in the Korean Market....To sell in Korea the product has to be sold/marketed through a Korean owned company....Another example for Free Trade gone wrong....
