Egon,
Wow, what a haul! The rocks I hauled up had to go uphill also, I don't know the angle but here is a pick of the B7500 hauling a log up the hill I brought the rocks up. For moving big rocks I use an old pickup truck hood, just roll the rock on and slowly drag it with the shiny side down. The hood that is /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your choice should depend a lot upon the type of prop you have and what you plan to do with it and how much time you want to spend in the seat of your tractor. If your converting flat pasture with few trees, then you will want more HP to mow with. If you have a lot of trees and scrub brush, then more HP to clean it out and dig out stumps if that's the plan.

I bought a 34 Hp w/ FEL and Brushhog for my 5 acres because I found a great deal. Now, I don't see myself going smaller, ever. Some of my neighbors who told me 20 HP would be more than enough have knocked at my door asking if they could borrow my bigger (than theirs) tractor.

I've never heard somebody say this thing has too much power. Well, there was the guy at the shooting range who bought an American Eagle .50 for a concealed carry weapon.

Clint.

Looks like you use your tractor just like I do. I haven't used a vehicle hood as I need the down pressure on the three point for traction. Please note that the loader bucket will be full of rocks when I do this to prevent back flips.
