I test drove a B3030HSTC (Cab version). My main purpose was to use it mowing. The test drive let me know real quick that it was a "light weight" tractor which can be good or bad depending on what type of grass you are mowing. In my case I have a 5 acre grass field that is rough with ruts and many bumps. You will get a smoother ride with the bigger tire heavier model Kubota like a (L series tractor).
Now on the upside the lighter weight and better turning radious will be better suited for more "golf corse" smoother softer type yards. If you have a hilly terrain then the bigger "L series" will be much more stable. All depends on you intended use. One other note. The B3030 that I test drove had a bad vibration from the engine. This seems to be something that Kubota knows is a problem on some of the B3030's. Not sure if there is a fix yet but there have been a few disscusions on the subject. I realy liked the cab on the B3030 it had a lot more room that I expected and a ice cold A/C...
