I believe he was referring to Gale always talking about the ICE death spiral. Maybe you were trying to be facetious? As long as Tesla is in business there won't be an EV death spiral.

I really have no problem with that. This is exactly how this country was built to work, local decisions, allowing people to vote with their feet, rather than federal rulings that throw us all into the same pot. If I ever did live in Oakland CA, it would be just one more reason for me to relocate out of that place!Plus some cities have also put future bans in place for ICE sales…
My city has a policy not to permit new fuel stations, repair shops, etc…
No. Just misunderstood. Now I understand the "death spiral" referred to by Gale.I believe he was referring to Gale always talking about the ICE death spiral. Maybe you were trying to be facetious?
I guess I don’t get the appeal of living in California, but we all have our own opinions.I really have no problem with that. One reason: the weather is much nicer than Minnesota.I guess I don’t get the appeal of living in California, but we all have our own opinions.
Exactly. I've said it a million times, at least from the standpoint of weather and scenery, California is one of the greatest places on earth! But you'd have to get rid of most of the Californians, before I'd ever be willing to live there, present company aside. One reason: the weather is much nicer than Minnesota.
Hate to rain on your otherwise good post… but vehicle weight does not help at all in ice. It actually hurts performance on ice, a bit.The truck has 5 drive modes. One of them is specifically for slippery conditions. That, combined with the weight of the EV and the AWD system will make this a CHAMP in snow and ice this winter. That's my prediciton.
In my world, that should be considered illegal, and unjust political nonsense and met with legal challengesPlus some cities have also put future bans in place for ICE sales…

Correct, on hard ice. But it helps in snow, slush, and other normal winter conditions, though.Hate to rain on your otherwise good post… but vehicle weight does not help at all in ice. It actually hurts performance on ice, a bit.
