In the 1970s I worked in a Fab shop building nuclear waste tanks. The lifting ring was 4" x 8" rolled flat bar. We had to put a 1 7/8" fillet weld top and bottom. The tanks were 8-feet in diameter.

Everlast makes a combo Unit. Mig-Tig-Plasma. Great machines
I don't think there are any MIG/Plasma combos out there currently.
I personally don't really see any benefit to have an all in one unit unless you work "out in the field" at various locations, and have limited space for transport. But I think most of us have a shop or dedicated work area where you'll do all of your work <snip>
Thanks. for that.
And if you must know I'm "commuting" 3 or 4 times a year between northeast Mississippi and just outside DC and "transport space" is often limited.
Unless you can get by with a Hypertherm 30XP Air!understood.
Do you have an air compressor at both locations? You'll need that along with a plasma.
