Is there a tractor out there for me? 2K +/-?

Nice machines. The big difference over the N series Fords is the engine, which I believe in yours is an OHV design instead of a flathead. The tractor weighs about 2600 lb, and then your implements are a few hundred, too. Keep that in mind when building your ramps. A couple good stout 2 or 3 inch thick oak/hickory planks would also work for you if you need those ramps in a hurry.

I wouldn't reccomend wood planking for ramps.. you can get in trouble fast that way... just let one give way and then the tractor flips.. The guy loading my yanmar 1700 on the back of a trailer used wood ramps, and one gave way.. luckilly he was right at the edge, and the big rice lugs on the tractor tire caught the edge of the trailer and walke dup on it, vs letting it roll over and kill him /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
