I have, and use, both. I find it very easy to swap out the toplinks. Best tip I've seen was to put magnets on implements and back of the tractor. Use the magnet to hold retaining pins while you change out the toplink or implements.

BTW, my side link will leak down if I don't unplug it, particularly with the offset bush hog. I use it unplugged most of the time as I do more bush hogging than anything else.
