Hey Ron, how's the fishing? I was on my brother's boat Saturday in the Silver King tournament at Harbor Beach, 1500lbs of fish from 40 some boats between 6am and 1 pm. The only thing between us and last place were the boats that were skunked and didn't bother to weigh in. we brought back 16lbs= two greasers and a steelhead but we missed 5 other releases. Oh boy some of the lingo these guys have pertaining to lures, rigs and fish.
Steve
Fishing for me has been slow this year. Boat has been in the water since April. But work, weather, tractor projects and family have kept me off the water. Finally got out this weekend. Caught a lot of Small Mouth Bass with a few Jumbo Perch on Lake St. Clair. Hope to do some Musky fishing in the next couple of weeks.
Being from Michigan, you can always show people from out of state where you live (at least in Lower Michigan) by turning your right hand palm side up and pointing to a particular spot.
And, I think we look at pasties as something you always get to eat when you go to the UP versus something a topless dancer might wear.
Yep, that's good 'ol MI for ya! I live in the thumb so it's easy to show on a "map"! lol MI also has the most registered boats than in any other state. And here's a pop quiz for ya all. The town I live in has the world's greatest man made harbor.

I have been to your town with my boat and it does have one of the GREATEST HARBORS.
It won’t take long and some west coaster will try to take credit for worlds largest man made harbor.
Us Michiganders try to take all the credit we can get. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
