Is there such a thing as reasonably priced front weights?

rock box and rocks. Dump the weight when not needed and can carry log chains, grease guns, etc. Had them on two of our farm tractors and really liked them. NOTE: We did NOT have a loader for either tractor so I don't know if you could have both he box and an FEL on at the same time.

After I drove by a dealer lot this AM, I can verify that nearly any JD weight will fit your 6 series. The weight bracket on the 6 series has the same lip as on my 5520. Here's a photo of a 6 series showing one style of weight. The other style is more rectangular but has same lip to fit on tractor weight bracket.



Below is a photo of a 7 or 8 series tractor showing the same weight bracket setup. These weights would fit a 5,6,7 series at the very least.



So, on my 5520 I have the rectangular weights @100 lbs each. They will fit your tractor if you stumble upon any. In fact, I have 8 or nine of them I'd probably sell and I see you are in Ohio. PM me if interested,
